Trust and Commitment: The Path to Activating Gifts

When you get clarity and you start choosing what you allow into your life and where you allow your time and your resources to go, when you get clear about that, you don't feel overwhelmed and exhausted anymore.

What is the value of trust and commitment? What are the deeper layers of trust? How decision creates momentum. But that's really just the beginning and what comes after that is like the last 1%. That commitment is really the most important. It's what differentiates the people who actualize and embody their vision and the people who are watching.

When you open up to receive and you stop giving your energy to things that don't matter, everything that you're seeking is seeking you, whether it's a soul mate or the dream client or job opportunity or maybe a place to stay on your dream vacation. And it's available to everybody.

We all have the same 24 hours in a day. So we get to choose where our time goes and how we use it and what we say yes to and what we say no to. We are the source of how we use our time when it comes to money. And if we own that, we're the source of money. We take ownership because we choose how we get paid, how much we get paid, and what we do for the exchange of energy, which money comes to us. In a sense, we get to choose and we are the source.

The mindset shifts that we create, first of all, we remove toxic language such as I can't and even just shifting from I can't tovI don't is like first level step empowerment. Just remove the words “I can't” completely from your vocabulary. Removing the words I should, removing I'm too busy it's too expensive, I can't afford it. Those are very disempowering words. Words have power.

There's layers of shifts as we go from I can't to I don't or I'm not willing. So that is a little bit more empowering. I'm just not willing to pay that or it's not a priority for me, like getting super clear on aligning your resources, your time and your money with what your values really are. Here are questions that you can go through whenever you make a decision: Is this opportunity aligned with my values? Is it the right time? And does it have to be me? And this is where we get to ask for support. This is where we get to check in with just because we can't as I mean, we have to and trusting in the timing that when we're when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. You don't even have to go look.

When you're really aligned, the thing that whatever your word of the year is, the thing that you're looking for, whatever, it's like all of sudden you start noticing the teachers talking about this and you're finding yourself in circles or having conversations around whatever that intention is. And so just getting really clear unaligned action, energy management over time management, and learning how to really resource yourself through the resources available. Also starting with empowering words, instead of saying, I don't have, I don't have the support, I don't have the time, I don't have the money, those are the top three.

We shift the mindset into, how can I allow this to come to me? Or how can I create this in order to allow more? What can I create? Who can I reach out to in order to ask for more support? What can I create? What happens is the thing that they were hoping would happen once it just starts happening. Resources are available, support is there. More time opens up, more financial resources are there, more support is there. That's one of the ways that you know that you're in alignment and you're clear.

Energy loves clarity. Time and money are energies and food and emotions and the whole thing and everything that's abundant in the universe that wants to support you is an energy. So the more clear you are about where you're going, then the more supported you'll be. The opposite of that looks like overwhelming chaos, spinning in circles, indecision, procrastination. That's a really difficult place to be. It does not feel good. It feels very disempowering. You're just spinning in circles and you're not getting anything done, and you're exhausted and you're overwhelmed and you're probably people pleasing you're just doing things that are just not aligned.

For some, the decision is hard enough. It's hard enough because it's like all the fear and the doubt and the what if I fail? Fear of rejection and abandonment, the whole thing has to come up. It can take moving mountains. It can feel like that in order to make a decision. It is hard to make a decision and you'll feel like you make wrong decisions sometimes. You can choose what you want to believe about that. You can choose to believe that mistakes just give you clarity, or you can beat yourself up, or you get to choose.

You get to choose  how you are going to look at that experience. Making a decision takes a lot of courage. It takes commitment, it takes clarity. It creates momentum. In that moment that you make that decision, your energetic imprint is shifting based on the decision that you made. You are saying, yes, this is what I want, this is what I value. Whatever the thing is that you're putting your energy into, whether it's your health or a relationship or your business or your children walking away from a relationship, selling a house, all of those decisions create momentum that are going to lead you on the path of where you're going.

Sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes we can get a little overly confident, which is a protective mechanism from the ego that thinks, “Oh, we don't need that.” We already know it already and sometimes we say, no, and sometimes we say no because it's a sacred no and it's really aligned. How you enter the decision making process is the energy that is going to expand.

It's really important to notice and aligns with a grounded place within yourself where, you know, you're making a decision from alignment and not scarcity, not a way of people pleasing, not because you're afraid of letting somebody down, not because you're desperately seeking to connect, not because you don't believe in yourself, not because those reasons, entering a relationship, any type of relationship, like anytype of commitment, is not a healthy way to enter that relationship.

When it comes to investing in yourself, because an investment is one of the most powerful acts of self love that you will ever do.It is really saying like, I believe in myself.I'm committed.I'm worth this investment. It really says, I believe in myself. That's what an investment opportunity is, whether it's college, whether it's a marriage, whether it's investing in a coach or a program or yoga membership, whatever investment is to you, what it says is, I believe in myself. I'm ready to come in. I'm ready to do this. It's really empowering, so we make the decision. Here's the thing, the decision really on a deeper level is just the beginning, because now that decision has created your path. It's taken you on the next course. Your yes, your no takes you on your next course of who you're going to be supported by, what your intention is, what your result is going to be one step closer to your vision. So think of the decision even though you're all in.

What comes next is commitment. The decision is one thing. So you get to decide what kind of life you want to live. That decision is 99% of the 100. The energy that goes into that 99%, it feels like a lot. But that last 1% has just as much energy as the first 99% and that's commitment, that's the difference between an investment and an experience. It's different. It's a different energy investment. You're invested in yourself, your life.

So commitment is key. It's important. The most important. After you say yes, what comes next? How will you show up? How are you going to integrate that decision? How will you embody that? How will you become the decision that you just made? The yes is just the beginning. Commitment is important. Commitment can look different for different people, but it's a commitment to yourself, to your yes. And it's a commitment to trust in your decision and to keep moving forward, to allow yourself to be supported, to be open to all the resources around you, and to trust.

What you do is you bring your energy to what is already working, and then you up level. You up level with choosing to allow yourself to be supported at that next level. You choose support in the direction that you're going or who you're becoming, not who you've been. If you keep making decisions based on who you've been, then you're going to stay there. If you keep thinking that you got it all and you can do it all on your own, you're probably going to stay there too. So a coach comes in and helps you to get to where you want to go with moral alignment, more clarity, more ease, more accountability. It really just gives you the momentum. If you've never had a coach before, that's what coaches do. Good coaches. They keep you moving forward. They help you embody and embrace that vision. They give you the accountability and support. It's super awesome.

You get to decide and here's the little nugget of wisdom. If we're appealing layers of trust, repealing layers of trust then we make the decision. Then we decide to commit. There's one more layer. And that layer of trust comes when the results are not there. And that's what separates the next level. That 1% we talked about. 99% of the hardship is making the choice to actually commit to yourself. All the stuff you got to go through to even make a decision to go on that trip to marry that guy. Making a decision is hard. That's why many people sit in decisions or they overwhelm themselves because it's just easier to run and hide in the busyness and the overwhelming. So you don't have to make a decision. That's a good one too. But true trust and faith come when the results are not there. That's when you're really being tested and you know you're getting ready for an up level. So it's really easy.

Just remember that every decision that you make creates the momentum for where you're going. So every decision that you make is either expanding or contracting or just staying where you are and there's no right or wrong because sometimes it's not the right time. And that's okay too. But where you come from, when you make the decision, is the most important piece. Is it coming from trust or clarity?

And what is trust? Trust, deeply rooted. Trust is when you don't see the results. Trust is when you wake up every morning and you just know. You're just committed. You see yourself in the doubt. You hear yourself with this empowering language, and you correct it, and you do all the things. But when you don't have the results, but you know, you see the bigger picture. You can see it. You can sense it. You can feel it, whatever your dream may be, you want to be a professional athlete. You want to be a speaker. You want to be an author. You want to create a nonprofit. You want to have children. You want to marry your soulmate. The best thing you can do is automatically embody that version of yourself every day. Today. That's what trust is. It's that deep inner knowing. Nobody can really access. Nobody else can disempower you because you know, you know.

You might take wrong turns. You might have experiences that will show you, now, this isn't for you, and that's what weeds everybody else out. But if you know it's for you, when you continue to take aligned action or you continue on the path of alignment, action can mean different things to different people. It doesn't have to be some big thing. It can be the smallest thing. But when you continue on that aligned path from a place of knowing thyself, know thyself, know my values be the source of time, be the source of everything, be the source of my experiences, be the source of energy, my money, all of it.

When you take full ownership and you're the source of all the experiences in your life and you continue on that path even when the results aren't there, and you know you've accessed that trust. So you just continue to listen. You listen. You lean in. You open up to the awareness of everything around you. Because truly, all the resources that you need to do the thing you want to do are in place. And you get to choose how they show up in your life. The more of a stretch it is for you, the more you'll grow. That's just the laws of nature. The more uncomfortable. The more of a stretch, the more you have to lean in. You just grow more.

The true act of faith is releasing the attachment, being completely unattached to the vision, the dream. Because when you are so attached to results, you just never know what's waiting for you. It could be bigger, and usually it is. You think you want this thing, but there's something else bigger and more available for you in ways that you don't even know. Because when you're in that momentum of energy and you're moving forward, you don't have the capacity to see that bigger vision yet.You haven't grown into it yet.But as long as you respond from a healthyplace, you allow the teachers and the community to support you for that next step, whatever it is,and you keep that momentum going. You stay clear of indecision procrastination thinking you can do it all on your own, thinking you know everything. People pleasing, fears of rejection, abandonment, when you stay clear of those because you've done the inner work, you've already learned in, you've done the inner work. You see it and you're not attached to it because you've done the inner work.

What you realize is that we all have the same needs and wants. Under the surface, the external experiences look the same, but really, truly what we believe. The experience itself, us in the experience, is actually quite similar. It really is. This is the evolution of the soul, that path that we go on. And you're all going to do it in your own way and it's coming in its own way. Nobody gets everyone that has that. That's how we grow. That's how we evolve as a human species. But that deepest level of trust is being completely unattached and trusting and letting it go, not making a story around it, not owning, not taking on a roller identity, not making anything mean anything. Every experience is a reflection, an opportunity that we get to choose.
